I think in this example there is indeed a mistake.
The rule that you've created is that if CAD_Inc. > 0.005 AND CAD_Inc < 0.005, then grey out.
This one variable cannot be greater AND smaller at the same time. So try it with having different values: CAD_Inc > 0.005 AND CAD_Inc < 0.010
Also notice that it is a text-field
So if you have control logic that uses 'Text Less Than' 0.010, then something 'strange' happens.
When filling in '0.01', then this is (alphanumeric) smaller then '0.010', so it will be greyed out.
If you fill in '0.010', it is exactly '0.010', therefore not greyed out...
So conclusion: if you want to use control logic with bounds, use a numeric variable, instead of text.
Thank you Gary, this is basically what I was looking for.
We were hoping for something a bit more user friendly where they can just enter the values in an edit box, say one marked min value, and the other max value, Is that possible?
Chintan looks like he is trying to use Control Logic on the card instead of the Variable Search Control as you show.
Card Set up for Variable Control:
Then when you go to the Client (explorer) where you can add the limits to your variables as you have shown.
