Can I add a new Property Name to the Cutlist Properties list so I can use it to call out that name in a note associated with a weldment body in a drawing view? I can link to the cutlist properties in the drawing but it will not give me the choice for the new property name I added to the cutlist property in the model view.
I did add the property by using the Edit List. I did the update and saved the model but it did not add that property to the Link to Property drop down.
Have you tried typing it in the text box in your bottom screenshot?
Yes, I typed it in and I just get a blank space
I thought that would work. Maybe start a new drawing and try again? Maybe then it will be in the drop-down? If that doesn't work maybe someone else can help. I'm relatively new to working with custom properties and there's a lot I still need to learn.
That did it! I created a new drawing and this time the added property name came in. Thanks for your help.

After adding the new property, have you right-clicked on the Cut-list folder in the part and chosen "Update" from the drop-down, and then saved? Also, in your top screenshot, did you add the property by clicking on the Edit List button, or did you just type it in?
