I have just recently purchased an OTF type font which I installed in Windows, and I find that it did not install in Solidworks.
Before this I installed the same font only it was a TTF type, which did install in both Windows and Solidworks, but would not
extrude, in spite of the geometry being correct. What am I missing here, other than clue 1?
If it matters, the fonts are PRINCETOWN OTF, and PRINCETOWN TTF.
Thank you
Yes & no!
Some OTF fonts are different than other OTF fonts. Some can use the .ttf extension others cannot. SolidWorks will only use fonts with the .ttf extension. It probably wont work, but try changing the extension.

Also try exploding the the font which would not extrude.
