good day everyone, im pleasing to someone who can help me to figure out what is the problem of my model.. im in the mold tool section, im trying to create core and cavity but theres a pop-up rebuild error saying " failed creating core and cavity solid" please help me to fix it.. here's my part.. thanks in advanced help is very much appreciated..
One way I spot the problem is to reduce the sketch to 1/4 the original size then try again.
eventually you could find the feature that is making this step fail.
After the problem area is located you could omit that area from this step by making a boundary in the sketch
go completely around the spot. finish this step then deal with that area in some other way.
This worked for me once.
Your model has very minor mismatches and may be that's causing the parting surface to fail.
You have to create the parting surface manually to get make it work
See the pictures of mismatches and split after cleaning and repair
Try to clean your part and then split using mold tools

i try to clean my part but it appears the same problem. or maybe there's something wrong on my process in the mold tools. i just did creating parting surface manually. i noticed on the pictures that the model have a base at the bottom, does solidworks automatically create it? or you just did it before you create parting surface and split using mold tools? thanks a lot john,
