I design some mechanisms with multiple linkages. Sometimes this will make it harder for the user to know what to expect, and so the motion simulation available in SolidWorks is very valuable. However, it is often difficult to get the deired motion from just grabbing and moving a part with the mouse pointer.
I have always wondered about the force-feedback devices like those from Geomagic or the gamer-oriented $250 Novint Falcon. Perhaps one of these devices would allow you "grab" a mechanism with your hands, and feel its freedom of movement.
Do any of these devices work within SolidWorks?

Hi Joe
I'm from Haption we supply force feedback device, and we have done a plugin Solidworks for assembly et robotic manipulation.
The name of the product is IFS Core "Interactive Fitting for Solidworks" this product has a add-on call IFS Robotics.
