    Kelvin Lamport

Great news! We have a double presentation for the next SWUG.Simcoe meeting on June 13th, 2013

The next SWUG.Simcoe meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 13th of June 2013 and will be held at the Holly Community Centre in Barrie.
Please check the following links at the bottom of the page to be kept informed of any changes.

5:30 – 6:15 … Greet, Eat & Meet – A social time to get to know one another over snacks & soft drinks

6:15 – 7:15 … “Simple Surface Modeling” by Mike Puckett of SolidWorks.
Description: Demonstrating simple surface tools to solve modeling challenges not easily possible using solids tools. Surface tools will also be used to create what would appear to be simple geometry, but not easily possible with solids tools. This presentation is meant to be an introduction to anyone not familiar with the surfacing tools in SolidWorks, but curious about them.

      7:15 – 7:30 … Break & SWAG giveaways.

7:30 – 8:30 … “Advanced Mates” by Mike Puckett of SolidWorks.
Description: The Advanced Mates presentation takes a look at other mates available in SolidWorks, but not widely used. It also covers some under-utilized mate functions, as well as offering some tips and trick to help large assemblies perform faster.

8:30 – 8:45 … Presentation selection for the next meeting on Thursday, 13th of September 2013.
