When I Save as the drawing to dxf, some diemension on the drawing change the z location. Someone know to solve this problem?
This is a long shot but the problem might be that the scale is off. I always create dxf files to 1:1 scale. You can make it so the dxf files always export 1:1. If you do a save as, change the file type to dxf and click on the options button on the bottom left you can enable it to do so. Be sure to make sure that if you create a drawing view and then change the scale you will also have to change the sheet scale to match. To do that, right click on the drawing sheet (not the views) and click properties and change the scale to match the drawing view scale. If this doens't fix your problem then hopefully it showed you something you didn't know.
Thanks Chris, but It didn't solve the problem.
Can you post an example?
Attach is an example, when you use autocad to open this file, then look by bottom or isoview, you will see some dimensions jump out of the XY plane. Can someone know how to solve this problem?
Can you post your SolidWorks files as well? The sldprt and slddrw.
Wow, that is weird. I've never even tried looking at a DXF file in 3D to see that before.
I just exported a file, and I get the same effect on mine. It's likely that SW has never noticed it before. I would suggest contacting your VAR so they can let SW know of the issue.
Actually, after checking, there is an SPR for this issue (SPR# 631582). You should go to the knowledge base and vote on it.
