For as long as I can remember there's has always been a horizontal line running through the middle of any animation I record. How do I get rid of this line?
Can you post a screen shot of what you are seeing?
Note that this is camera view and that the line appears, disappears, and reappears over and over. I notice this morning that it appears that PhotoWorks 360 is cropping at the line such that on what's above the line shows is all that gets captured.
I am thinking that is the Floor by what you describe. When you render in PV360 it looks like your assembly is buried in the floor?
Try adjustng or turning off the Floor in your Scene settings.
I checked. I don't believe it's the floor. A single image will turn out fine but an AVI has the problem.
Do not save out AVI's.
For animations save out image files and use a program such as QuickTime Pro to create your videos. You will have a lot more control over the codec's, etc. Also, if something is not correct or the computer/SolidWorks crashes you do not need to re-render the entire timeline.
What about the line?
I got the impression from you post the line only showed up when you saved out AVI's and was not visible with image files.
Did I interpret your post incorrectly?
You're correct but sometimes a simple animation is all there's time for. It doesn't have to be polished but it does need to be professional.
Saving to frames doesn't take any longer and compiling them takes seconds. Best part is you can use a compressor like H.264 and your files will have very good quality and be super small. this morning my 330mb avi file compressed to 1.21mb mp4 with perfect quality.
Doing it this way will actually give you more profesional results.
