Hi everybody,
I am currently working with education edition of solidworks 2012.I faced problem with flexible tubing.Instead of finding files to add and drop,the folder ''tube fitting '' is empty.why is this happining? do I have to add to the library manually or it should be generated automatically? for the purpose of clarity I have attached the the steps until the folder ''tube fitting'' appears.
any help is appreciated since I need it very badly.

I am using solidworks 2012 and here is the path similar to the one you mentioned.
C:\Programfiles\SolidWorks corp\solidworks\data\routing.
with in the routing there are only two folders.i.e formats folder and system folder.when I expand the format folders there are few suppressed solidworks file.Do you mean these files? if so,do I have drag and drop into design library or simply click on each solidworks parts in the formats folder?

in windows explorer, show hidden files and folders, then add the location i gave as the design library.
Unless the educational version does not come with routing....

try adding the design library using the + icon in the picture u provided:
here is the path:
C:\ProgramData\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2013\design library\routing
ProgramData is a hidden folder so you have to enable hidden folders
