Michael, you can re-orient the compass, but you can change your views with respect to it.
Change your drawing view to the 'back' rotate it about the X axis 90 degrees and then update your drawing views so that it becomes the front view. You can do that from the view orientation pop-up window or in 2013 by right-clicking in the field of drawing and going to Set current view as... ==>Front
John and Alin I have an existing assembly with many parts that has to be re-oriented so the triad points in a different direction.
It is an aircraft jig and all parts must match the aircrafts triad orientation. The reason this happened is that the horizontal stabilizer was to be built top side up. Now the design requires it to be built bottom side up. I don't want to have to redesign the jig assembly and all the parts.
