Hi,

I'm using SW Professional 2011 SP3.0 and I've noticed that when I create a spring connector and apply a preload, the force applied from preload does not match the value entered.  For example: I've created a compression only spring connector between two faces, entered a value for stiffness (axial and shear) then applied a compression preload of 23,000 lb. After I run the analysis the free body force through the member connected to the spring is only 1,100 lb.  I've got around the issue for now by scaling (increasing) the preload to achieve the proper output.  Has anyone else noticed this issue?  Has it been solved with a service pack?
