turn on the option in the simulation options to save temporary files and then dig around in the .out file
you could also try some of the export options to export to other FEA programs
what are you trying to do?
Thank you I`ll try. It`s for a course project and i need that information for some calculations
If you are able to figure thia out, please post the solution. I'd like to know.
So far i found only the mass matrix and it's in the .out file so thanks for the help!
i checked the solidworks KB this morning. looks like you're out of luck.
Question:Is it possible to output or extract the stiffness matrix used in Simulation after running an analysis?
Visible to Customer:
Answer:No, this is not possible with Simulation. The only procedure for doing this involves COSMOSM and applies to frequency analysis with a special solver. This procedure is complex and not recommended for regular Simulation users. A working knowledge of COSMOSM is required.
I wouldn't recommend the COSMOSM option unless you know it well.
Looks like I'll have to think of something else. Tkanks anyway!
