Best way to put a sheet metal top on this weldment

So, this is a typical sheetmetal weldment for me. 14ga stainless steel. This is a round tank with a diameter that tapers down from top to bottom. I use the lofted sheetmetal funcion for the wrap pieces which are 4 inches away from each other.

But then I have to create a sheet metal top that connects the inner and outer wraps. It kind of looks like a donut, but the problem is that it is not flat but "swoops up" 4 inches on the right side starting at the middle of the round diameter top.

The only way I know of creating this as sheet metal is to use "guesstimate" the top piece in the flat state, and use the flex command to see if it is actually going to fit.

Anyone have a better solution. (I use SW2011).

Thanks a bunch for your input.
