Hi folk,

I'm new to solidworks and api programming. I  have a little task and need some help. There is the following situation. There exist a user designed assembly and the user can add additional a special part called "tool" additionaly. There will be several instances of the part "tool" in one assembly.

I like to have a little macro, which gives me an array/list of all instances of the part tool in the assembly document. Additional I like to extract the "assembly coordinate" of a reference point which is definied in the part "tool".

Does anyone has an example or some information wich api call I need to use to extract these kind of data?
