I am trying to make a mold of a part. The part was done in Pro Engineer and imported into SolidWorks 2012.
I have managed to get up to the Parting line command and then it stops saying that it can't "knit".
I've attached what I have.

SolidWorks 2012 is what we are currently running.

If you look at my feature manager, two of the parting surface edges having gap, deleted and created new surface to join together.
I think it is not that hard.

I can't really read the Feature Manager the is in the forum. It's very small.
If you can increase the size of it, it would help.

Welcome to the forums
You may have to manually create the parting line
When you create the parting surface, there are gaps while you sweep out
Delete the surface with gap and manually fill the surface
It's not a perfect parting surface, still it works
