Hi,

I have a rotation moulded kayak that I have drawn, and am in the process of drawing up the mould. I have successfully created the mould parts, however both of the mould halves are very chunky, and would be a huge waste of material. I am wanting to cut away most of the material so all I am left with is a 20mm thick mould in the profile of the core.

I have tried to shell the mould halves, but it will not let me go larger than 1mm with the thickness due to the shape of the kayak. I have also tried to create a surface, and thicken it, but get similar errors. Is there an easy way to achieve this? The kayak is very intricate, and it will take many hours to do this manually!
