Hi,

Hi,

What recommendations?
In my computer the "basic motion" works well but it is unrealistic.
In "motion analysis" I don't get a failure message, the quadruped walks two steps and then he falls through the floor.
I don't know why. I have a contact between the floor and the legs with "friction" and "restitution coefficient".
Am I missing something?
in 2013 SP3.0 in motion analysis (solidworks motion) the analysis runs for a little bit and then fails. it fails with several recommendations about how to potentially fix the problem. if you're not seeing the errors, what version/service pack of the software are you using?
if you could post a video/picture of what you're seeing, that might also be helpful. if you ahve contact, taht should be all that is necessary. like i said in my last post, it works ok on my system until the errors.
Hi, I get the motion but the quadruped only slips.
I think the quadruped must jump but I don't get it.
How can I make it not slide but to jump instead?
in the physical case, what causes it to jump?
do you have an example of that?
my guess would be that you can't transmit the leg force into the ground to get it to jump because your friction is too low or the physical behavior is because of something compressing.
or your motors aren't setup/timed properly
do you get an error message or does it not work/
in 2013 sp3.0 when i use the motion solver, i get a failure message. did you follow the recommendations?
if i use basic motion, it works ok.
