Opening AutoCAD MEP files in SolidWorks

    Steve Zema

      Hello All,

The company I work for is about to receive a ton of files from a supplier, and the files were created in AutoCAD MEP.  Can SolidWorks open these files if you have the AutoCAD MEP reader?  Or would we need to have the full version of MEP on our PC's, and then able to open and modify?  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,

      Steve Zema

went to the site...think you need them to send you dwg's or download the 30 day trial when you get the files and use it to save out your dwg's
