I've been having issues with getting results through the fluid flow simulaiton. At the moment I'm running the simulation with water passing around the outside of this hull model but when I finish the (very long) simulation, the lines just pass through the model. The link below shows the results I'm looking for...
I've followed tutorials several times and used different methods but end up with the same results.
If anyone has any suggestions, that would be fantastic.

Is that a solid or a surface? Flow doesn't represent surfaces as solid parts as they do not have a finite thickness.

Ok next question, is there a simple way to turn this into a solid?
Under surfaces there is a tool called "thicken" - if you use that to give the surface thickness in one direction it will turn it into a solid.
Just an update for future reference. At first I lofted the surface hence why the simulations didn't see the model as a solid.
I've just deleted the lofted surfaces and switched them for boundary boss/base which worked. Wonderful .
