i m designing a pneumatic engine. i've my assembly ready but whenever i go for motion analysis by applying all the forces and torques on my assembly, my solidworks couldnt solve the time steps at all, need help!!
attaching the video of the model i've made in solidworks down below.
so the video is from animation rather than solidworks motion?
and you're having trouble going from animation to solidworks motion?
and the only change you made was adding torques/forces?
does it run in solidworks motion when you remove those?
remember that solidworks motion is a rigid body kinematic analysis program. the parts won't deform...etc. if your forces/torques are counteracting your motion, you could cause a problem with solving. when you get your motion study done, you can export some of the forces to solidworks simulation on a part level bases to run a static analysis.
