Good Afternoon,
I have created an assembly with several layers of sheet metal parts. One layer has holes and I want to propagate those holes through the other layers in the assembly. I have watched videos and browsed many of these threads and have been unsuccessful in finding a solution. From what I can tell, the hole series tool is probably the one I want to use. I found this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JuWTTdFtaU). I followed the steps for a flat surface that I made just to try it, and it worked; however, when I tried to do it on the curved surfaces I had created in my assembly, it did not work.
I kept getting this error: "All components selected for assembly feature scope are of future version. Propagated assembly feature could not be created".
My parts were created using sheet metal tools. Perhaps that is a reason for the hole series tool not working. Any tips are appreciated. I have included a picture for reference.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you running SW2012 SP 5 and you're trying to edit SW2013 files, then you won't be because you can only open and view files from higher version but can't modify them.
If this is not the case, then attach your files here to check. Use advanced editor on the right side after you hit reply to attach the files.
