Hello everyone. This is my first post here, and I hope it is a good one (sorry that my first post is a question)! I'm wondering if there is any way to create something similar to the model I have attached in SolidWorks. The original model is made in 3ds Max, and it is extremely simple (at least for polygon modeling). I've looked online for other solutions and this is what I have found:

It wouldn't be too difficult to create the model using this method, and I fully understand the process, however I'm curious if there is a simpler method, or at least one that would give me more freedom in the creation process (as I do not know the exact angles that would be necesarry).
I will most likely be 3D printing a hollow version of the model, so the 3ds max model is probably sufficient, but regardless learning to recreate it in SolidWorks would be educational.
