I have always havd SDK versions in conjunction with the SDK code we get given from our university CAD classe co-odinator, but the one I had before was the 2011/2012 version and since I upgraded to the 2012/2013 PV 360 was not included as an add-in.

I e-mailed my CAD co-ordinator at university too and he said he had no idea why they had done it from one year to the other?

I can't even export with this Solidworks edition either so it will be hard for me to render any of my CAD models under this SDK version.

PV360 is not included in Student Design Kit. You may look at Bunkspeed, Modo or Keyshot for rendering. I feel all of these have trial version options

The SW Student Edition is at the Premium level, which includes PV360
