I am using SolidWorks 2012 and when routing tubing with custom fitting that I created with the wizard, there are no route parts created when the routing is exited. When using the example fittings that come with SolidWorks the route parts are created. All I have when I exit the routing when using the custom fittings is the 3d sketch with no solid sweep for the tubing. I have tried comparing the part I made with the example one and cannot find any differences.

Thanks for the reply. I have attached the O-Ring fitting that I created, as well as the straight fitting that I was using for my example. The Assem1 file, which I am not sure will open for you, shows that the straight fitting has no issues and the route parts folder components are created, but the O-Ring route parts are not. I did notice that in the Routing Library Manager under the Piping and Tubing Database tab that the size field shows 0 for the fitting I created, instead of the .75 that I assigned for the route point. I am not sure where to update this if this is the issue.

Can't open the Assem1 because I don't have your tubing.
So I did a cursory check, lunch time was 4 hours ago, and I noticed that your O-ring fitting doesn't have a design table.
1/ A design table is higly recomended because it makes it a whole lot easier to check, change and elaborate on a fitting and most of the time you'll end up needed a particular fitting in a different size anyways.
If you want to be able to have tubing start from your fitting, or continue from your fitting then it needs to be able to tell to you tube part what the size is that is needed, this is done with the "Diameter@Cpoint1" which you can set in the design table.
If you check the design table of straight fitting you'll notice that there are 3 columns concering "...@Cpoint1", the other two being 'MinStraightLength' and 'Stublength'. Seeing as that your part has none of these. 'Stublength@Cpoint1' is not necessary and can be skipped.

I noticed the straight fitting only has sizes up to 1/2" but the o-ring fitting is 3/4". This may be part of the issue. If that isn't the problem then try this version of your part. I rebuilt it using convert entities and intersection curve, removed all the relations, then put dimensions in their place. You may need to adjust the dimensions as I didn't change the values from the conversion. Now most of the part is one revolve (outside of the hex).
I don't usually have solidworks put points on for me so the route and connection points are dimensioned in the revolve. I added an NPT route point to the hex end for a 1/2" NPT. If you don't need it just ditch it. Also I made the mate reference the inside edge. I think this will work the same as your 2 surfaces for most matings.

There's so many things that could be wrong that it makes it difficult to help you. There for if at all possible it would be easiest if you post the part you made.
A couple of things you can do is check if you're used the correct terminology, with the correct spelling, and if the dimensions that you use for the custom fitting are identical (to the last decimal) with those from the tubing.
