Registry errors "could not initialize solidworks utilities & feature works"

First off

I am running the student edition.

The program installed with no problems. After a few days of using the program my computer had slowed dramatically to the point I could not use it.

I checked the registry and SW created 2500 registry errors. I cleaned the registry errors but it may have wiped out a few important ones.

The computer is back to normal running condition , but now I lost the solid works Utilities & the FEA that I currently need to finish a design. Everything on SW seems to run fine it is just the add-ins that seem to be the problem.

Is there anyway to manually register the utilities and add-ins

And how did I create so many registry errors did I do something wrong while installing it. I just used the default settings
