Hi all,
I have a truss consisting of cyllindrical rods. The nodes are currently sharp corners where the cyllinders impinge. I want to smooth out these corner. So for example, I have an equilateral triangle. The edges are made up of cyllinders. There are sphere of radius equal to the cyllinder radius at the corners, so the exterior corners are smooth. I would like to smooth out the interior corners.
Basically i want to do a fillet, but on cyllinders instead of lines.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Adam
Adam,
You should be able to just pick an edge where two of your rods join and put a Fillet feature on it. If you are generating your truss as a multibody part, you need to join the bodies before you can add the Fillet.
