I am having troubles with surfacing. I would like these two surfaces to blend together snoothly. The surface that is used to blend these two revolved surfaces should be tangent to both of them.
Any help is much appriciated.
Like this (Face Fillet, Curvature Continuous)?
Thanks, it was very close to what I want. However, I wanted the surface blend to be either convex or straight. Your method provide a concave fillet. I could increase the fillet radius to its max, but it would still be concave. The attached image is something similar to what I want. The area within the pink mark is what i want my blend surface looks like.
Anyhow, thanks a lot for your input. You actually taught me how to use face fillet.
Revolve less than 180deg, or trim the surfaces back. Then boundary blend between them.
I actually constructed the blend, then turned on Instant 3D and adjusted the revolve angles until the blend surface looked convex, and then verified it roughly by editing the boundary blend feature and checking the curvature comb display.
