Is there a way to limited the viewing time for an edrawings file?
I want to be able to send a client an edrawings file but for him only to be able to view it for a week or month and then lose the right to view it. Is there a way of doing this?
Welcome to SolidWorks forums Brad.
No there is no option to do that. I don't think if there is any software to do that. Even if you're able to do it by any mean, they can still use the e-drawing by printing it out or making copies of it.

Thanks for your response Deepak.
I have seen some PDF files that are able do this, so thought there might be a possibility for edrawings. Your right they could print 'hard copies' but a 2D picture doesn't give as much information as a measurable 3D model.
Thanks for the link to the forum posting guide.
eDrawings does not have this option, but Composer does. You can save-as .smg with an expiration date.
Is that 3D Via Composer you're referring to?
Yes, now SolidWorks Composer (same thing).
I'll look into it.
