I have drawn a sofa as a solid part and now wish to show the various layers internally of leather, foam and wood.
I made a copy of the sofa and shelled it at 1.5mm which gave me the entire leather skin.
What I would now like to do is subtract this leather from the original object giving me the foam sofa minus the 1.5mm leather outer skin.
I could then do the same for layers of foam of different thicknesess.
Is this possible?
I was thinking about the multibody part combine and subtract funtions but have tried to replicate this in an assembly.
I could outwardly shell the sofa by 1.5mm to add leather to what I have already drawn but this can't then be done for the foam as that is too thick to "cheat".
Any help is most welcome.
