Hi,
I am trying to make this structure using sheets. In the absense of guide curve in the sheetmetal lofted bend option, I had to make it as a part first.
My guide curve is third degree polynomial. Now I can't flatten this using "Convert to sheetmetal" option.
Please help me out.

Out of curiosity, I want to know that isn't it possible to flat that drawing without having to have 4 or 6 parts?
If not in Solidworks, can I do it in CATIA?

you wanting it folded in a pressbreak or formed? It's quite large to do as one peice. Perhaps 2 would be better. You'd need a straight edge between the sides.
It's a big piece but I'd not want to see any change in geometry. This part is an inlet of a windtunnel and I want the air to come inside smoothly.
That's the whole issue, I don't have straight edge on either side.
I tried to wrap surface on the part but couldn't find 'unfold' option in the surface workbench.
I need flat surface dimensions for the CNC cutting..
Flatten is a sheetmetal tool. The solidworks sheetmetal features are designed for a press break so do not do complex forms. If this is a one off part and you want nice clean edges you'll likely need to do it as segments and get it seam welded.

It's thru flattening software we have. Not directly from SWx.

I was able to flatten all four sides seprately using SW which solved the problem.

Create your guide curves so they go corner to corner, either by creating new planes or using 3d sketch. this part would require 4 sheetmetal bodies, so model as seperate bodies. If you create the guide curves on the corners and draw a line top and bottom you could create the parts as sheetmetal lofts.
