One of my coworkers is using Solidworks 2013 on a new DellT1650 64bit computer and is getting an out of memory error, any ideas on how to fix this?
LOL.....From the looks of the post April 5th, 2010 I see they are taking this Hole Wizard issue very seriously!!!
It happens to me all of the time and the best thing to do is close SW and then reopen it adn carry on with what you were doing.
How much memory do you have? Can you increase it? How often do you purge memory?
There is 16GB of memory. How do you purge the memory? I have never done that on a computer here at work.
It just frustrates me that Solidworks is forcing the size of the computer. Instead of ironing out the existing issues they keep adding more and more. I would whether have less and have things run smooth instead of more and have to come up with workarounds on my own.
Welcome to the wonderful world of SW. You are not saying anything that I have not all ready said at least once. Just remember the Bill Gates cure, reboot, reboot, reboot. Lord only know how many times I have had to do it and all of it because of SW.
