One Part is Missing

Question asked by Alex Bloch on Feb 28, 2013

I am trying to start my company off in going with the online configuration method on 3D Content Central. I've made and configured one of our assemblies and everything works nicely like it's supposed to in Solidworks. But once I upload the file to 3DCC that's when things start to become a little weird.

My problem is that when I try to configure my assembly online everything looks fine and works. But when I go to download that file sometimes one of the parts doesn't show up. It depends on the configuration and I haven't narrowed it down to which ones they are yet. I usually download them in a SW 2012 or STEP file format.

When I download the assembly in the Solidworks format, I can see that in the downloaded ZIP file that the one part that doesn't show up in the assembly is a TEMP file, as it shows below.

It only makes this one file become a TEMP file and when I extract the ZIP folder into a folder on my desktop it doesn't extract the TEMP file at all.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know how I could fix this??
