I am new to SW and have 2013. In a practice I accidently did the profile sketch on the top plane then extruded it. It  was on its side. If it was a complex piece and I didn't want to start again, how could I get the part to rotate to 'standing  up' position. That is, to put what is now on the front plane down on the top plane.

There doesn't seem to be any easy way to do it? I know in assembly we can rotate parts easily(?), but what if the part is always in a particular orientation when assembled. It would save time to have it already the right way up.

Thanks
