Hi, We are currently planning our schedule for upgrading our EPDM system from 2012 to 2013. Last year we went head first into the upgrade process without any testing first, and ended up with significant downtime, due to issues with installing Edrawings on clients.
This year we want to be more prepared, so have taken some advise, and are wanting to prepare a "TEST" environment to run the upgrade process in order to make sure all functionality is available, and that there are no unforeseen installation issues.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to create this test environment - I understand that we should use a standalone PC, but we obviously need to have some or all of our database/archive server information copied across.
Any information that you can impart on how to go about this process would be great.
