I'm at a new company. We're not using PDM. We own Workgroup PDM and I believe it's necessary. I'd like to spend a little time with it to determine how it will help us, how to best implement it, and and how to present all of this.
We have five users on a network installation. Can I install WPDM on my computer, set up a test vault on my local computer and use it concurrently with our production files (which are stored on the network)? I don't want what I'm doing to affect any of the current files on the network, and I don't want it to create any issues with my ability to work with files on the network.
Can this be done? Anything I should be careful of? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you,
