I am new to Solidworks Simulation so this question may seem trivial. I have an assembly that I am running a static simulation on. I am applying several pressures to the areas indicated in the images bellow. I want to simulate having one end of the assembly attached to a hinge point and allowed to rotate. Under the applied pressures I expect the model to rotate freely along the hinge point until the model is in line with the resultant forces. As of now I am using a hinge fixture, but I don’t think it is working. I would appreciate any help. Attached are the CAD files. The assembly being tested is called linelock3 test assembly.
