I'd like to place a point by simply defining the offset from three planes, but I can't seem to do this. Can this be done? Can a place a point offset from a coordinate system? I know in Pro/E you can do it, or you can give xyz offset values from a coordinate system.
I don't think you can do that with a Reference Point, but I'm not sure since I rarely use them. Instead of that, you can open a 3d sketch, place a point, and dimension it from three planes to fully define it's position. Will that work for you?
