A friend of mine has a vendor that is having trouble converting SolidWorks files to OneCNC in a HAAS machine application. Does anyone here have any experience with this that might be able to help?
Contact OneCNC and ask them why they refuse to pay to license Parasolid.
I hope I never have to use OneCNC again. It's garbage and everyone I know has dumped it and upgraded to something better.

Unfortunately, that's not really helpful for the current situation.
No but it's reality and unfortunately lots of OneCNC users have had to experience the reality of how poorly OneCNC does at importing solid geometry from SolidWorks and other CAD programs:
"Things I hate about OneCNC:
-Cannot consistently import solid models without producing surface or geometry errors that do not occur in any other cam or cad system.
-Because of the above mentioned issue, and the lack of the program telling you there is errors in the model you can waste countless hours making fixtures and machining primary operations only to find out your finishing passes look like shit because they are working off geometry OneCNC screwed up."
"I think Onecnc should fix the problem, or they could refund my money. Seeing as how they won't refund my money, I'll just try to warn people about the issues wih OneCnc so they don't dish out thousands of dollars for mediocre software that is falsely advertised.
Onecnc has been very inconsistent with importing models I have found, some I have no issues with, others require a bunch of work. In the past two months I have had demo copies of Esprit, Gibbscam, Mastercam, and featurecam, I tried importing these models I had issues with into all of these softwares, and wouldn't you know it, they are all fine , no errors. I just got a copy of HSMworks this afternoon, I expect I won't have any issues with it either."
Hello, I think I can assist. If you or your freind can email the SolidWorks file to me, I will take a look at it. My email address is as follows:
I would be glad to assist and I look forward to hearing back from you.
I have not had any problems converting over solidworks, but then again I am still using xr3
