Since making the switch to 2013 we have been running into a problem running macros from suppliers for CAD models of their parts.  When running them we regularly get and error that says "A serious error occured during macro playback. Perhaps the macro was not played in the correct context. The system could be in an unstable state now." The system then crashes shortly after.  In addition to this, I get the following error in my event viewer:

Faulting application name: sldworks.exe, version: 21.2.0.50, time stamp: 0x50f9cb56

Faulting module name: VBE7.DLL, version: 7.1.10.39, time stamp: 0x50936373

Exception code: 0xc000041d

Fault offset: 0x0000000000108a75

Faulting process id: 0x540

Faulting application start time: 0x01cdffdcd1ba12b8

Faulting application path: D:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks (2)\sldworks.exe

Faulting module path: C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\VBA\VBA7.1\VBE7.DLL

Report Id: 15b04618-6be2-11e2-91c8-14dae90c5c72

When I restart Solidworks, I can then run the macro without a problem.  It seems that the error occurs when Solidworks has other part files open and you try to run the macro, but if you start off with the macro from a fresh session it will run fine.  This is currently happening on 3 out 5 of our computers, all of which have a similar set up.

Has anyone else run into a similar problem?  And how did you resolve it?

Thanks,

Kevin W
