Hi all,

I'm using the SetMaterialPropertyName2 method for changing a part material but I cannot prevent the material appearance from changing too.

I thought on changing the "Apply appearance of:<material>" (Materials dialog under the Appearances tab) default to unchecked but it is not possible at the moment (SPR 625984 - 'Apply appearance of....' checkbox settings needs to be remebered as a System option and not as a session option.).

Can it be done throughout the method arguments? or in any other way?
