    problem with start-up

I've installed the student version of solidworks 2013. But when i want to open it, the startscreen appears and after that, nothing happened. Solidworks doesn't start. What can be the problem?

          Hi Yannick,

Sounds like Solidworks has hung on its "Splash Screen." Access your task manager and see what is says for solidwors under "applications." My guess is it's going to say "Splash." If so, go into your "Processes" tab and check how many Solidworks.exe processes you have running. End all the solidworks.exe processes and then try starting up Solidworks and it should work.
