I'm trying to import some existing .dwg files made in AutoCAD into SolidWorks using the "convert to SolidWorks entities" option in the DXF/DWG Import Wizard window. Everything appears to convert correctly, except for the MTEXT boxes, which are required in order to have text wrapping for long texts in the title block of the AutoCAD file. Basically, SolidWorks doesn't read the wrapping at all, so the MTEXT fields end up going outside of their boundaries. Does anyone know of a way to resolve this?
Something else I noticed is that the MTEXT format codes are also being read in by the SolidWorks conversion. For example, if one of the MTEXT attributes in my title block is "Test", SolidWorks reads this as "\W.750;Test". Any idea on how to fix this too?
