I have copied a sketch within a Part but I want to change the reference plane of the copied sketch.

I successfully copied a complicated sketch of the face of an extrusion (using CtrlC from the Feature Tree), and pasted it as a new sketch on the same plane.  However, I now want to delete the original solid but it fails with the message that no reference plane exists for the copied sketch (I guess due to the deletion of original plane).  How can I change the reference plane of the copy to a new plane?

I know I could re-copy onto a new reference plane, but I would like to learn how to change reference plane of an existing drawing (if it is possible).
