Hello, I'm having trouble simulating a torsion spring.
Is there any way I can add fixture (can't figure out which one to use in this case) to the spring (see the screenshot below) so that the spring stays still ?
Why not just fix one of the faces that you are applying loads to?
I did that.I just wanted to know if there is a way to restrain spring in that way in SolidWorks.

It would be nice if Solidworks had an option to fix the center of mass, or fix reference geometry based on non-physical sketches such as concentric circle centerpoints in this case. But for this case, by fixing one end of the spring there is essentially no difference in the result.
I think I would simulate it in an assembly, with a fixed mandrel, then set the contact conditions between the spring and mandrel to no penetration.
