if the user only have one single part file that contain more than 5000 cut list items.
the easiest way to let all cut list item to have weight properties is
Insert the Weight property in the "Weldment" feature's properties (Right click on the Weldment feature in FeatureManager Tree>properties.
then all you cutlist items will have their own weight properties assigned.
Secondly if you want the Weight properties to be included into your weldment part in future, you might need to consider include the weight property within the weldment profile, which means you need to open those .sldlfp files to add the "weight" property by using File>properties.
