Chad,
I only have SW2012, but from the jpeg of the part I see in windows explorer, I would say no, not as one piece.
you would have to make the cone shap as a lofted sheet metal and the top slot shape as its own sheet metal also.
reason is the cone shape is really a stamp type of part and the metal stretches and SW doesn't know how to flatten it correctly.
I do appreciate your help. I was hoping to incorporate the top tabs in to the loft to cut as one with our flat lasers. That is why I started with a surface first as I could then create the part using 3 sketches then giving it a thickness. I have the solid model of the part I need just need to get it into a sheet metal flat for cutting. I wouldn't even need the rounded ends in the flat as we would roll and weld those separately. Just where the straight edges of the top part of the loft would be nice to have in the model. My fear is I will have to add them to the .dxf flat part in AutoCAD before sending out to laser. This is really not the desired way I want to approach this project because I would like to set this up using DriveWorks as we make many variations of these and would benefit greatly from having this model function correctly. Thank you again for taking the time to look at this.
I did it as two pieces. Using the lofted bend feature. This may not be what you are looking for but it is what I could come up with, hope it helps.
