I'm putting together drawings for parts to be rapid prototyped, and want to make sure I correctly thread for a tube fitting. McMaster part #2974K144 will screw into a waterbath I am designing. How do I procedd with Hole Wizard, or other method, to make a hole to accomodate the male tube fitting? I'm concerned b/c it looks as though the outer diameter increases as it approaches the bolt.
The threading specs for the tube fitting are: 1/2" NPT 14 Threads Per Inch, 0.53" Thread Engagement
The McMaster tube fitting CAD is attached, and here is the link: http://www.mcmaster.com/#cadinlnord/2974k144/=l5fphd
Thanks for the help!
