I'm saving a sldasm file as an eDrawing, and want to make the measure command is active so that other parties
with eDrawings can use it. When saving, I go into options, and make sure the "Okay to measure the eDrawings file"
is checked. However, when opening the file in eDrawings, the measure command is not active. I am using the standard
version of solidworks. Might this be the reason, and only professional and premium allow the use of the measure
command when saving as an eDrawing file?
You need to be running SolidWorks Professional or higher to get this functionality in EDrawings. If you are using Standard Solidworks you need to upgrade to a Professional OR buy EDrawings Professional.
