Creating a mold from solids and surfaces.

Question asked by Steyn De Witte on Jan 20, 2013

I am trying to create a cover for my phone so I can print this in 3D. I found a 3D model on 3Dcontentcentral of an Samsung Galaxy S, but it exist of 3 solid bodies and 5 surfaces. The surfaces and the bodies are not knit together. When I zoom in on the model I see a gap between the products. I want to make a mold so I don't have to make the inner cover all by my self. I managed to knit the surfaces together, they were first intersecting eachother, but still can't make a mold.

I will put the part in the attachment. Is there a way to create a mold out of this model?
