Can this be done? I want to put the PDM vault on a PC inside the company's offices. Then, 2 of us working remotely with cheked out licenses, want to be able to use something like "Go To My PC" to get and put files to the vault. The PC inside the company will not have SW on it - just the vault. Is such an arragement possible and OK re: SW licensing? Thanks for you help!

I am currently in the process of Implementing SolidWorks and PDMWorks with my company and I am successfully doing exactly what you are inquiring about, so far anyhow. My work requires I do the majority of our design work on the road in various mills all across the country, therefore I must be able to have access to all data at all times. I have been using a VPN software from Cisco for about a month or so and it works well for accessing our server from home or a hotel in somewhere. It is quite slow when ching in our out of the vault though. I am currently trying to implement a replication scheme to assist when Internet access is not available.
